Released in Japan on October 9th, 2003, Way of the Samurai 2 made its debut on Sony's famed, Playstation 2 console. Later on released in NA on May 21st, 2004, and for PAL (European Abbreviation) on July 7th, 2004, the game was finally shown outside of Japan and gave other people the experience of what's it like being a samurai in late Edo period Japan, is truly amazing in my opinion. The game takes its engine from its predecessor, Way of the Samurai 1, but giving a whole new storyline experience giving the player a bit more of a open choice system for multiple different routes of endings the player may get. Later on, Way of the Samurai 2 was released for Sony's handheld system, the Playstation Portable (PSP) on September 3rd, 2009 but however was only released in Japan for the Playstation Portable. It may have been due to the sales of the game being not so high in the other parts of the world and maybe due to Capcom starting to fall under little by little cause of the amount of money the company had at that time but it may be my guess to what was the real reason was at the time. Of course I will get straight to the point but I just wanted to give s tiny bit of a lesson in terms of the game. Id rather let the people reading this or you, look upon the game's history and/ or storyline but maybe if this petition fits fine, a remade or remaster version will be upon us. I just hope this is a actual thing happening and get this well deserved game a little more appraisal. If you so happen to look up the game, do not be totally fooled by the reviews, it is indeed a mixed opinion game though, but in overall gives a funny, but yet realistic view of late Edo period Japan as I stated on this above. I will leave this to us as the fans or just people stopping by the perhaps think and maybe support this.
