Louis Arias, a player on Canyon springs baseball team, had showed is lack of respect, lack of taking responsibility, and lack of integrity in the past week. Louis was caught Dming someone the F Slur which I'd a very harmful anti LGBTQ slur used when people would murder LGBT people wrap them in carpet and set them on fire alive. Louis is a cis straight male who has no relations to the LGBTQ+ community, the person he had message even attempted to educate Louis by giving him multiple reason why it shouldn't be used, he than responded using the word again ignoring the person and disrespecting all those who have been hurt by the word. Even after instead of speaking up and apologizing he has stayed silent while his straight friends attack and harass LGBTQ+ and straight people with slurs and death threats. This kind of behavior should not be tolerated in 2021, he had a chance to educate him self but he ignored it displaying that he has no concern for the situation.This is considered and act of homophobia and will make others feel uncomfortable and even scared Louis Arias does not deserve to be on the baseball team after displaying this behavior.
