Dear Congress,

After the unfortunate loss of over 130 wild horses from the BLM Canon City Holding facility from a equine virus for which there is a vaccine, we would like to see more transparency at the nationwide wild horse holding facilities which house nearly 60,000 horses.

At Ford motor company they used to have a day each year where the friends and family of each employee could come and see their loved ones while they were working and tour the facility. We understand that security may be an issue so a virtual tour of each and every holding facility yearly would be greatly appreciated. We would like to request that the tour be viewable by every US taxpayer without cost.

A 24 hour live cam of the foal’s (baby horses) holding pens at the Canon City facility would also be greatly appreciated and would enhance the nations knowledge of the availability of these horses.

We understand the Bureau of Land Management is going to investigate why 500 of the 2500 horses were not vaccinated against the equine virus and this is greatly appreciated.
