I grew up with Thomas and Friends. It was a large part of my childhood, and a beloved narrative that many shared. The changes in the 2021 reboot titled "All Engines Go!" are not just slight tweaks or modernizations, but a profound shift in the storytelling and characterization that defines Thomas and his friendly bunch. The show now seems nonsensical and deviating far from what many recognized as Thomas. The charm of this children's series lay not just in its fun storytelling, but also in its subtle way of teaching young viewers about trains accurately. It's crucial to remember that children's media should not just entertain but also educate with factual information.
