I want to express our profound alarm at the release of Boris Malagurski’s film, Republika Srpska: The Struggle for Freedom, across Europe. The Serbian-Canadian director has now publicly expressed his intent to extend the film’s tour beyond Europe, HE WANTS TO REWRITE HISTORY! 

 The film’s trailer, glorifies the founding of the Republika Srpska in the 1992-1995 Bosnian War as a fight against “slavery” and a “struggle for freedom”. This is a continuation of the director’s years of lies and and denial of the crimes committed in Serbias name, including the Srebrenica Genocide of 1995, which the International Criminal Tribunal found was committed by the Republika Srpska army ( Serbian Army) A GUILTY sentence given and yet this filmmaker tries to recreate history. The Serbian army killed over 100,000 & caused almost 2 million to be displaced making it the worst conflict since world war 2. This movie portrays the Serbians as victims as they’ve tried doing for decades since. HELP THE FAMILIES OF THESE VICTIMS GAIN JUST A TINY BIT OF CLOSURE. 
 
This film will only cause hurt to the victims/victims families. It will cause tensions to raise in Bosnia , they’ve already lived in fear for years and now a movie to GLORIFY IT. Please sign this petition to put an end to the lies of Boris Malagurski.
