Cancel the Face-to-Face Chinese New Year Celebrations in Manila and Quezon City.
The Issue
Calls for Unconditional, Complete Cancellation of Face-to-Face Chinese New Year Celebrations to be held on January 22, 2023 in Banawe, Quezon City and in Binondo, Manila by Ian Cyrus E. Barcelos
Good evening, ladies and gentlemen. I am Ian Cyrus Eduarte Barcelos, a 25 Year-Old Person with Different Ability from San Isidro Galas, Quezon City
1. Because of Inflation, there are Low Sales Volume on Lucky Charms, Fruits, and the locally known Rice-Cake called "Tikoy" in the Philippines.
2. Here in the Philippines, we are on the Very End of Combatting the COVID-19 Virus Already. They should adhere to Health and Safety Protocols to avoid Physical Contact. Highlights of the Face-to-Face Chinese New Year Celebration featured Lion and Dragon Dance Performances, Float Parades, Street Parties, Shooting Off Firecrackers, and other Outdoor Activities, especially involving Liquor and Live Band are part of that celebration. Our Police Force and Firefighting Units are strictly enforcing Security Measures to control the crowd, and Apprehend any Lawbreaker who will take advantage to Cross the Line.
3. There should be NO for the return of the Face-to-Face Chinese New Year Celebration just like what happened last January 25, 2020 where there are visitors wearing Face Mask or end up going for a check-up immediately due to health concerns and we are combatting other diseases to help uplift the lives of our countrymen, too.
