We are residents of Laval, and we all feel the impact of this arbitrary decision, which we believe imposes an unfair financial burden on drivers.

This $89 public transit tax on annual car registration renewals is an additional burden for everyone owning cars. While we understand the importance of supporting public transit, this specific tax creates a financial burden for many Laval residents. For a family with two cars, the additional cost will be $178.  

We call on the Laval government to take immediate action to cancel this tax and look for other ways to support public transit without creating additional economic hardship for residents.
