There are many quaint neighborhood parks here in Huntington Beach that sees joyful visitors every day. People from all around come here to relax, enjoy the beautiful weather, and spend quality time with their friends and family. But what tends to spoil such sunny days? It's the unexpected parking tickets, issued like clockwork, due to No signs indicating no parking/street sweeping schedule are not posted in the neighborhood. As a result, unsuspecting park-goers face expensive parking fines, which is not only frustrating but also disheartening. 

The unintended consequences don't stop there. The enforcement of street sweeping rules has become more about penalty than keeping the streets clean as seen in the picture that they don't move the trash cans to better sweep the streets, they'reonly interestedin collecting money from the residents as seen with 3 ticket issuers. The streets of Huntington Beach are well-maintained, and the impact of suspended enforcement for park areas is negligible compared to the inconvenience caused to visitors and residents alike.

It's time we urge the City of Huntington Beach to reconsider the current enforcement strategy surrounding street sweeping. By re-evaluating and, subsequently, cancelling these specific enforcements in park vicinity areas, we'll have a more welcome neighborhood.
