The day of the junior prom has been set from the beginning of the year. Knowing this, why would the athletic coaches think it okay to schedule practices knowing it’s prom. Wouldn’t you think that all coaches would be more considerate knowing people have spent hundreds of dollars on suits and dresses etc. How come every coach is willing to ruin everybody’s day. There are quite a few other options regarding practices. Since it is playoff season, coaches are allowed to have practice 7 days a week. So technically Fridays practice can be made up on Sunday. I believe that this is very poor management  for the athletic department to allow this type of disregard to the players. There will be plenty of more practices and games, but there is only one junior prom. We shouldn’t allow all this money to be thrown away because the coaches want to fulfill their needs of winning a championship.
