My dog is is mentally disabled was permitted by police to escape my house. In one month there has been no contact to his welfare. He is 8 years old Staffordshire/Pitbull Bull Terrier. I have raised him for 6 years. He came from the world famous Battersea Dogs home. The consulate in Tenerife have tried to assist. The police will not give information on him or his welfare. We believe the police chief of Puerto Santiago wants to own the dog and is keeping him. He is easily confused and totally relies on me. Please sign the petition so the police respond as to his whereabouts and his welfare. He is not my dog, he is is my baby. He will be distraught not knowing why he is wherever he is. Its cruel to him and myself. The Police have no legal right to take what they want.   There is also suspicion of dog fighting here and possibly strays being shipped to China etc
