CRTC — Mandate that Internet & Cellular providers implement unlimited data during COVID-19

3,622

The Issue

Canadians are working together to fight COVID-19, wouldn’t it be great if ROGERS, SHAW, TELUS, VIDEOTRON, et al, helped Canadians stay connected to each other by lifting caps on Internet and Cellular data?

We have so much technology and amazing software to connect with each other during this crisis. The only problem is how much these companies charge for and cap our data usage. I am calling on the Government of Canada and the CRTC to mandate that these companies lift these data limits and stop price gouging to make even more money during this crisis.

Canadians have made the shareholders of these companies billions of dollars by paying much more for these services than in other countries. They should help Canadians, not profit even more, as navigate through this difficult time

Please sign and remember to practice social distancing but connect with each other virtually!
