Harley Davidson launched Street 750 in April 2014 and within months it was the highest selling bike for Harley Davidson. In 2014, Harley sold 2,406 units of the sub-Rs.5 lakh Street 750 in India—41% of its domestic sales during the year (Source Live Mint)

In return, what we got in India was:

1. An Expensive Bike with Compromised Brakes
2. Ignorant attitude from the manufacturer

This resulted not only in increasing accidents and deaths on road but also  increasing risk of endangering others lives as well. Apart from the mental agony, our brothers have gone through fractures and injuries to which  company is yet to take a stand.

There are silent protests all across the country by the bikers across the community but with failed efforts so far as company decided to stay quite about the whole issue(Source Business Line, Rushlane).

The whole biking community is surprised as to why Harley Davidson is not addressing this issue for those loyal bikers who supported them in making Street 750 the highest selling bike ever produced by HD in India and even globally.

Dealers and support engineers across the country working for Harley are also helpless due to policies of Harley Davidson and are not in a position to help.

We humbly request Shri Nitin Gadkari Ji to please step in and help us out by asking Harley Davidson to recall all Street 750 bikes fix their brakes to be at par with other Harley Davidson models and protect us from being a forever victim. We deserve a better treatment and safe bikes for the money we paid to Harley Davidson  by trusting in the brand and expecting a quality bike with quality controls.
