The Post Office is planning to close Wealdstone Post Office. I have met with community groups in Wealdstone and am aware of the essential services it offers to the community. This is not just a building; it is a lifeline for many people, including the elderly, small businesses and those without access to online services. The planned closure of this long-standing and important service would have devastating effects on many. 

It is worrying that in the UK alone, over a thousand post offices have been closed in the past decade (source: National Federation of SubPostmasters). This closure trend does not only disrupt service provision but also tears at the fabric of our communities.
