Hand dryers in public toilets can be intolerably painful to those on the autistic spectrum and other special needs. A traumatic experience that makes public toilets not an accessible amenity for children and adults.

Most users are unaware of the pain they are about do endure, with an unpredictable, sometimes multi use of 5 or 6 dryers in a room that intensifys the loud booming noise of the dryer.

not only does the noise from hand dryers cause intense pain and suffering, the unpredictable start up use of a hand dryer can be absolutely terrifying.

Badly placed dryers near entrance doors, for example in a disabled toilet are accidentally activated on entering and can cause major distress.

i am in awe of the autism friendly environments that are being created and that more understanding of autism is spreading and benefiting those on the autistic spectrum.

The hand dryer noise level does seem to of not been a factor missed in most changes and would be of massive benefit to all including parents and care givers.

please help spread more understanding and encourage a change of choice (low noise hand dryers) by signing this petition.
