The Issue

Chadwell Heath Residents’ Association has been supporting its residents since 2022 in their request for just one or two buses per hour to provide direct public transport to drop off and pick up at Queen’s Hospital, Romford.
While parts of Essex have been provided with services directly to the hospital, residents of Ilford, Seven Kings, Goodmayes and Chadwell Heath (only two and a half miles away and, like Queen’s, in a London Borough) have no such transport facility. Instead, they must take a train or bus to Romford centre, then another bus from Romford to the hospital. This is extremely challenging and stressful for the many elderly, frail or disabled citizens in this area, and those anxious to visit loved ones. Despite numerous letters and emails, Transport for London (TFL) has so far refused our request. You can read more about this on the CHRA website: https://www.chadwellheathra.org.uk/
We propose a reasoned appeal to TfL to re-consider their decision and provide a limited service to drop off and pick up at Queen’s hospital, along the 86 bus route.
Let's bring forth the change needed to improve the community's access to healthcare. Please sign this petition seeking TFL to modify Bus 86’s route for direct access to Queens Hospital.
