Dear neighbours and friends,

We were recently informed that Plympton-Wyoming town council needs to know that the local community supports the building of the Camlachie Community Hub. Please help us gain signatures to show town council that this is a much-needed project that will enrich the lives of our community members!
 
The Huron Shores Optimists have proposed to build a multi-use facility to help create a Community Hub in Camlachie that further compliments what is already there - the Camlachie Community Centre, Baseball Diamonds, Library and Museum. The facility will feature a refrigerated ice pad (60’ by 120’) that will be in operation from late November to late March, dressing rooms, indoor viewing area, AODA compliant washrooms, and the entire facility can serve as a host facility the remainder of the year for Farmer’s Markets, pickle ball, ball hockey, etc. It will complete the Community Hub and give neighbours even more reason to gather and grow our community.

The Huron Shores Optimists have worked tirelessly with town staff and contractors for over two years now to choose location and design of the Community Hub.  Our Community has shown an outpouring of support via fundraisers like The Summer Send-Off. However, Plympton-Wyoming town council needs to hear from members of the Community like you that this project is truly wanted and supported. 

Please note: Town council needs to know that every signature is coming from the citizens of Plympton-Wyoming. As such, please ensure you are either entering your full address, or at least Camlachie, Wyoming or Plympton-Wyoming and your postal code to ensure your signature is counted.
