Convicted felons to not be able to possess crossbows or muzzleloaders

The Issue

On May 13 a convicted felon who has had numerous convictions in the state of North Carolina shot and murdered our son in the head with a crossbow. We are asking the officials of North Carolina to change this law to not allow convicted felons to own cross bows or muzzleloaders. Both of these things can do serious damage because they are deadly weapons. A crossbow in the hands of a convicted felon is what has killed our son. He should’ve never been allowed to have one in his presence.
