CBC Winnipeg picked up our story today.

Bottom line....although Manitoba's health minister says he sympathizes with the situation, there's no move to change Manitoba's model of care-delivery. 

What does it take for policy makers to take action? Obviously, limited resources are a concern, however, one would think working toward solutions would be priority for those in government.

At any level, the involuntary separation of elderly couples needs to be addressed.
