Today, most schools have many different ways of educating their students, whether it be to read a text book, or watch YouTube videos on the subject. But, it has become clear that there is one kind of learning strategy that isn't really helping students, it is actually making their lives harder.

In case you couldn't tell, i'm talking about study island. Study Island is a free to use platform that allows all schools to give their students work over the internet, and it takes almost 0 effort for teachers to do it. It is such a great tool for teachers to use, but how could it be bad? Well, there are no confirmed reports about people lashing out over study island, but i feel like all the talk you can find online about how much people hate study island due to its poorly worded questions and bad explanations, it has made some kids angry. I, who is a student at Pymatuning Valley, discuss this among my friends and peers, we all agree that study island should not replace traditional teaching practices. the rage study island gives people is absurd especially when you read the explanation on why you are wrong and it doesn't make sense. I think they tried to counter act this by having a lesson readily available for use, but they don't make much sense either.
