A HERO OF OUR TIMES
This week, a national treasure passed away. Streetcat Bob was beloved by fans of all ages all over the world. The Facebook announcement of Street Cat Bob's passing has drawn 88,000 comments in just 48 hours.
Street Cat Bob & James Bowen's journey began & flourished in Covent Garden. It's a true story of recovery and hope borne out of the most desperate of times. It's so apt & inspirational for the current world climate.
His fans across the globe feel his legacy of love & healing should be kept alive. It would be fitting that a commemorative statue of Street Cat Bob akin to Greyfriars Bobby be placed in Covent Garden.
Such a monument would not only stand as a lasting testament of hope, it would keep Street Cat Bob & James' story alive, attracting visitors to Covent Garden following the dark times of 2020.
Hodder & Stoughton , Oliver Dowden and Keir Starmer, we ask you to assist in any way you can as we call on Camden Council to commission and place a fitting tribute to this Hero of Our Times.
