Cambridge International May-June 2020 should be cancelled : A-Levels, IGCSE

The Issue

The Cambridge International examinations for A- Levels and IGCSE for the upcoming May-June 2020 series should not be held, reasons being:

1. Disruptive preparation,  most countries where the exams are to be sat are under lockdown or partial lockdown, this prevents students from attending school, e-learning has become and issue as schools are poorly equipped to act fast enough to adapt in a short notice towards preparing students for the exams.

2. Lives and the health of students are of upmost importance, carrying out examinations could lead to spread of COVID-19 amongst students.

3.  Students will not be able to perform their best under circumstances that they are currently put under especially in countries under lockdown. Mental health of students should be considered.
