In 2020, an infectious strand of virus named COVID-19 has caused a worldwide pandemic and anxiety. It reveals many issues that already pre-exist in the global society; including wide gaps between social classes, uneven distribution of resources, fragile industries, ETC. Not only adults are suffering from the pandemic, the youths who suppose to be most protected are also getting a life-threatening impact from this forlorn circumstance: lose of their education opportunity.

Started from the early August, most of the exam body has released “standardized” A-Level results to candidates. August supposes to be the brand new start for people to entering their higher education, however, this year’s August has become the graveyard of many people’s dreams.

The way or algorithm that exam body uses to provide final results is bizarre. Students have received a result that is far off from their daily and past performance. Schools are also very upset to grades given to their students. Those letters given by the “cold” “confusing” standardized algorithm stop many youths to achieve their target.

Therefore, please help youths’ unaccomplished dreams by signing up this petition. A-level (international & UK) candidates are encouraged to take this survey to help us to understand the situation that you are facing with.
