As residents of Bermondsey and old Southwark, we demand the resignation of our MP Neil Coyle.  

We are horrified at the carnage in Palestine, the scale of the killing of civilians, women and children, the level of destruction and withholding of basic necessities of survival: water, food, fuel and communication, the deliberate destruction of sanitation and the medical system. We see an unprecedented level of Israeli state barbarism with the complicity of the UK. Human rights are destroyed and replaced by war crimes.

 By 2nd November, Israeli had dropped the equivalent to two nuclear bombs on Gaza: an area the size of Isle of Wight. Half of its population of two million are children. By 19th Nov. 13, 000 Palestinians, over 4800 children were killed. The bombardments continue. Nowhere is safe in Gaza. 

That is why we, the residents of Bermondsey and Old Southwark, feel deeply shocked and betrayed at Neil Coyle's refusal to support a cease fire. 

WE BELIEVE HE DOES NOT REPRESENT THE VIEWS, HUMANITY AND CARE OF THE PEOPLE OF BERMONDSEY AND OLD SOUTHWARK. WE DEMAND HE RESIGNS HIS POSITION AS MP.

WE CALL FOR:

• CEASEFIRE BASED ON PRINCIPLES OF INTERNATIONAL LAW AND HUMANITY
• STOP BOMBING SCHOOLS, HOSPITALS AND CIVILIAN TARGETS
• STOP THE GENOCIDE OF 2.2 MILLION CIVILIANS PREDOMINANTLY CHILDREN
