The proposed Kercheval design creates a serious safety hazard for residents exiting the gas station, leaving the Butzel parking lot, and turning onto Kercheval from Vandyke. This area is already congested.

Furthermore, the proposal to build an apartment complex, eliminate the existing Butzel Family Center parking lot, and seize park space for a new lot is a terrible idea that threatens our community resources.

Butzel Family Center is a vital resource center, and the park is where we hold community functions. We cannot afford to lose this space.
