Call on UN to Stop ICC and Bring Duterte Back Home

The Issue

As dedicated citizens of the Philippines, we have experienced firsthand the effective governance of President Duterte. His relentless campaign to combat drugs and crimes was beneficial for the transformation of our society. Positive changes were tangible during his term, proving that his primary intention was to preserve the welfare and security of the Filipinos. Therefore, we humbly call on the leaders of the United Nations to heed our plea of non-intervention of the International Criminal Court (ICC) in matters concerning our President.

This plea is not born out of blind loyalty, but a firm belief that President Duterte has not committed the crimes he is being accused of. His fight against drug abuse, a blight that has destroyed numerous lives globally, is a testament to his commitment to the well-being of the Filipino nations. This battle, unfortunately, has been misinterpreted, leading to a biased perspective against our beloved leader.

Indeed, politics is complex, and justice should be served where it is due. However, in this case, we firmly believe that President Duterte should not be subjected to judgment by the ICC but by his own people who have elected him democratically and understood the essence of his policies.

Thus, we call upon the United Nations leaders to support the democratic decision of the majority of the Filipino people and to stop the ICC from further intrusion into our national affairs. We request them to let President Duterte return to our homeland, the Philippines, to continue his outstanding work.

Please help us bring justice to our president and safeguard the sovereignty of our country by signing this petition.
