Call for wider acceptance of the Photo Identification Card as ID

The issue

Not everyone can drive and not everyone can afford a passport. The Photo Identification Card needs to be included as a valid form of ID alongside these options.

The Photo Identification Card is an official government ID introduced in Australia in 2019, yet many services do not accept it as an option. From government sites to rental applications to various identity verification services this form of ID is far too commonly lacking as an option.

This issue disproportionally affects the disabled and the poor. Sign to show businesses and government entities that we need the Photo Identification Card to be more widely accepted.
