Six Surrey MPs have written to the Secretary of State for Education to complain that they have lost confidence in the leadership of Surrey County Council and its care of children.  

Surrey should have a funding advantage nevertheless its statistics are comparatively appalling.

My son has ASD and we returned to Surrey with a robust EHCP.  He was out of school for four months until I involved an advocate.  Surrey County Council (SCC) last year removed my son’s 121 support reducing the specificity of his EHCP (in c 25 instances), while stating in writing and on tape that his needs haven’t changed - an unlawful act, according to my advocate who is a SEN and tribunal expert.  I now have a private educational psychologist report to augment the SCC's own recent educational psychology report which they choose to ignore.  Regardless, they are refusing to increase the specificity of my son’s EHCP.  More costly time-wasting games… while my son doesn't get the support he needs.  

I want Rachael Wardell to resign with immediate effect, she and her team have caused my son extraordinary unnecessary stress, and I want things to change...
