Dear brothers and sisters in the cause as members of the National Association of Letter Carriers (NALC). We deserve better leadership. Our current president, Brian Renfroe, has consistently demonstrated weak and ineffective leadership. He failed to negotiate a contract that truly represents our interests, proving that he is not fit for the position he holds.

My fellow NALC members, we have a right to expect more from our president. We are the backbone of the U.S. postal system, delivering crucial mail and packages to millions of Americans every day. According to a report from the U.S. Postal Service in 2019, our members delivered more than 143 billion pieces of mail, representing a key part of the national economy [source: USPS official website]. A leader who does not effectively represent our interests could significantly harm our ability to serve the public effectively.

Renfroe will also be negotiating our next contract. We should be gravely concerned about our future under his leadership. Negotiation of terms that influence our working conditions, wage level, and more, can't be trusted to a leader who has failed us before.

It is high time that we come together as a united front to demand the immediate and unconditional resignation of Brian Renfroe. Our unity, passion, and determination for a justified cause can make a difference. Please stand up for our rights, for our dedicated service, and for the future of our association.
