Recent public comments attributed to Gbenga Omotoso, Lagos State Commissioner for Information and Strategy, in response to an incident involving allegations of harassment have generated significant public outrage and concern.

We therefore call on the Lagos State House of Assembly, under the leadership of Rt. Honourable Mudashiru Ajayi Obasa, to:

Conduct a thorough review of the statements made by Commissioner Gbenga Omotoso regarding the incident in question.

Hold him accountable for conduct that has undermined public trust and confidence.

Take immediate steps to remove him from his position as Lagos State Commissioner for Information and Strategy.
