Robin G. Schulze, the dean of the College of Arts and Sciences (CAS), has lied to us about the state of CAS and has lied to us about our futures as students. She has denied any cuts to CAS, while there is a college-wide hiring freeze, adjunct professors in Humanities Departments are being fired, and PhD lines are being cut. We are being lied to, and it is time to prove that we have power as the student body.

Only weeks ago, Classics undergraduates found that suddenly all of their upper-level classes on the HUB were erased without explanation or reasoning. We had to fight just to have TWO of the classes reinstated (which we need to graduate). No one in this college should have to be in fear of the existence of their Department without any warning. Robin G. Schulze has failed us. She refuses to have any level of honesty or transparency with us. She is attempting to mislead us and evade any responsibility while gutting the Humanities taking away upper-level classes we need to graduate, and destroying graduate programs such as in the Classics Department.

Robin G. Schulze has an obligation to the students in CAS that she has failed to meet. It is her responsibility to provide students at this school with the classes they need to graduate and to tell us what is going on in our college. We can not allow her to let the Humanities Departments take the fall for her incompetence and mismanagement of the college. We deserve better. Demand the resignation of Robin G. Schulze!
