“Breast cancer screening and what to know about dense breasts” with Prof. Fiona Gilbert, Consultant Radiologist
Prof. Fiona Gilbert, consultant radiologist at CUH, led the groundbreaking BRAID study involving over 9,000 women, 85 of whom were diagnosed with breast cancer early.
She will discuss what it means to have dense breasts, the results of the trial and how breast cancer risk can be reduced.
Also attending, Louise Duffield, a CUH patient who took part in the study and received an early breast cancer diagnosis.
