STOP HOMOSEXUALITY AND SAMESEX MARRIAGE IN NAMIBIA  is the voice of many Namibians who are against homosexual and same-sex marriages in Namibia ,who are so concerned with the cultural implications of the recent High Court ruling on 21 June 2024 ,and supreme court ruling on 19 may 2023, As Namibian men and women, we are  in strong support of the marriage and spouse  Bills that where proposed by honorable Jerry Ekandjo and approved by Parliament, where we believe it is crucial to preserve our moral believes and cultural values, threatened by this rulings.

Our nation is rich with diverse ethnic groups, each with their own distinct languages and cultures, has always placed a high value on maintaining cultural traditions. This ruling, however, is a threat to the moral fabric of our society, contradicting our belief system and the values that we hold dear.

We are not standing against individuals on  equality or human rights , we respect and value equality for all Namibians. However, we maintain that a man should remain a man and women should remain a woman as far as marriage is concerns Namibia. in this regard a national referendum would ensure and allowing every citizen to express their  fundamental rights  and also ensure that this ruling is in the best interest of all Namibians or not.

Thus, as citizen of this country we humbly urge the President of Namibia  to reconsider his position and sign the  marriage and spouse bills that are already approve by parliament .as nation we invoke our constitutional power  of democracy through the national referendum. Let us sign this petition together to  ensure that our voice  is heard. Let us Stand up in preserving our cherished cultural values and our norms as Christians.
