Senior Assassin should be one of the most exciting parts of senior year at Hagerty High School. Instead, the experience has become frustrating and unfair due to poor management from Emma Rethers.

Constant last-minute rule changes have created confusion and an uneven playing field. Rules that significantly impact gameplay should be clearly established from the beginning, not added throughout the game.

Involving school administration has also taken away from the original purpose of Senior Assassin as a fun, student-led activity. What should be an enjoyable and memorable experience has instead become stressful and difficult to participate in.

Fairness, and consistency are essential for a successful competitive event. A new host who can establish clear rules from the start and maintain the integrity of the game would restore the experience for all participants.
