"Call for a Cause: Educational Opportunities for Less-Unfortunate Children in PH."

The Issue

In a quote spoken by Nelson Mandela, “Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world.”

In most places and areas in the Philippines, children don't have access to education due to poverty that affects millions of Filipinos. Due to a lack of education, many of these non-privileged children are on the streets begging for money and food to survive and live. That's why I am making this advocacy to be their voice as a fight for their struggle and to fight for a better future where Filipino children will have a proper and equal treatment in society.

It spoke highly of education as the most powerful weapon to change the world, and I believe that given the right opportunity, the less-privileged children in different parts of the Philippines should be given a chance to go to school, to learn and to be educated for the sake of a better future.

With this in mind, a recent news article by Philippine Star states that nearly 11 million children and young Filipinos are not attending school according to a study by PSA (Philippines Statistics Authority), which is quite alarming. We need to make a difference, to be their voice and to help them go to school to learn, to be educated, and with your help, they will soon grow up and become potential leaders in the making by making the world a better place.

With that in a quote spoken by the Philippine's National Hero, Dr. Jose Rizal, “The Youth is the future of the country,” It spoke highly on why the Youth in the Philippines has an important factor within our country - as it spoke highly that they are the future of the nation and without it Who will lead the Filipino people if we leave our children to rot in poverty? They are the future of our country and therefore, they must be given the chance to be educated and I am glad to be their voice.

With these calls to action, I urge everyone with their loving acts of kindness and generosity - to make a difference not just for themselves but for the people around them as well.

This can also help eradicate Poverty in the Philippines, if given the right opportunity to let them go to school. These young children are the future of the Philippines. With your help and support, you have made history by helping them make the world a better place and they have the potential to change the world with education as a tool for them to be taught, to use it as a privilege and to teach others the same way that they are taught and give others the chance to be educated the same way that they deserve to be given an education.

Therefore, I would like to encourage policy makers, law makers, and anyone who had the heart of kindness to sign this petition and help these young Filipino children in poverty to be educated. For they all need your support and love.
