I have created this petition to call for a special meeting specifically for Wilson Lake of Springwater, WI to address the funding requirements to have Wisconsin Lake & Pond Resources to conduct a full lake assessment and Lake Plan that the riparian land owners can submit to the WI DNR so that lake projects can begin and to apply for state grants.

In the 2026 Annual KWR Lake district meeting it was voted that a Wilson Lake Plan be developed, however the funding of such a plan was missed. We now need to revisit that and vote upon project funding.

The subject and vote is specific to only the funding of the project to create a comprehensive Lake Plan specifically for Wilson Lake. The funding request will be to not to exceed $16,000.

There are about 71 riparian owners on Wilson Lake…which 8 signatures is all we need.
