The Issue

We’ve had enough of broken promises from our politicians. In a democracy, it’s the people who should decide who leads us, not a select few within political circles who seem disconnected from the reality most of us face. It’s time we had a say in who governs us, and it certainly isn’t Andy Burnham.

Since the last election, we have witnessed a series of questionable decisions and a noticeable lack of accountability in those who claim to lead us. Economic challenges loom large, from a cost-of-living crisis squeezing families to inadequate responses to climate change. Meanwhile, promises made during campaigns seem to evaporate once votes are won.

Public trust in the current administration has diminished signficantly, with surveys indicating widespread dissatisfaction with its handling of critical issues affecting Britain today. The leadership struggles and in-fighting only further underscore the need for fresh leadership truly reflecting the public's will.

A general election will provide a fair platform for all voices to be heard, ensuring that the future Prime Minister truly reflects the collective decision of the people—not just party loyalists. A democratic society thrives when its leaders are held accountable by those they serve.

Sign this petition to demand a general election, empowering us to choose a leader capable of delivering on promises and safeguarding our future. It's time we reclaimed our voices and took meaningful action for change.
