I have read The Lorax many times before, I have drawn him in art, I have watched the movie, and I have learned the lesson. 
 
It has been SO LONG since the banning of the book The Lorax, and I just found out! a More than 30 years and they still haven’t unbanned it! The reason it’s banned is because it presented logging as a terrible thing. The banning was in California, which bans plenty of things. Honestly, loggers should be careful when logging and replant the trees they chopped down! Here are some reasons and ideas of why logging is bad, and what we can do instead.

1. There are plenty of abandoned houses we can fix up and use instead of building new ones!
2. It is harming the environment and is killing us! Less trees= super hot + animals die and humans = ice bergs melt = floods + humans die = climate change + animals, humans, plants die = natural disasters + humans, animals, plants die = polar bears go extinct = probably more than half the world will die = destruction, sadness, grief. It’s happening now for gods sake!!! Check the news app and search up climate change!
3. Use other materials like all that trash in the ocean!

California has to UNban The Lorax so more people can know! They don’t know the world is dying they’re just living their peaceful lives, living in ignorance. I want to do now or ignoring it or don’t believe it. And the ones worrying about it aren’t even doing much. If more people know, then more people can do something about it.
