The F40PH has served the US Railroads proudly since their introduction to the rails in the 1970s. Today few F40s serve today. About 5 of these locomotives server in the San Diego COASTER service. These engines are already getting ready for retirement. We need to save one of these engines to preserve a great part of commuter rail history in SoCal. I recommend saving F40 #2105 as it has been famous for a lot of people
