The Calhoun County Board of Education has elected to not renew the contract for Jeanna Chandler,  the Principal of Wellborn Elementary. Those of you who know Mrs. Chandler know how much she means to our school, our community, and most importantly our children. They are making a decision that will drastically impact the school and the children and I don't feel that it will be in a positive manner. Mrs. Chandler goes above and beyond what is required of her position and truly loves the children entrusted in her care. She has made sure there is an amazing group of teachers that provide the best education possible for our children. It is our desire to see Mrs. Chandler continue in the position of Principal at Wellborn Elementary. There is no valid reason to remove her from this post. Please join me in making you voices heard!
