The AHL affiliate of the NHL Team 'Calgary Flames' are currently seeking a new contract with a city as their current contract with the city of Stockton comes to an end. While the Heat are a fun team to watch, Stockton does not give them the love they deserve. 

In recent years, Sacramento has really stepped up its game in becoming a sports city. Sacramento currently has an NBA, MiLB, and ULS team while also being the future home to an MLS and possibly a NWSL team.

Now is the perfect time for Roseville to compliment Sacramento's enthusiasm for local sports and to acquire their own professional hockey team! We believe getting an initial interest gauge through this "petition" would further help put our city on the map for where the Calgary Flames could move the Heat. 

While this form will not lock anyone into making any purchases, we feel it will help show the City of Roseville that we are serious about having our own professional hockey team.
