I wanted to update everyone on an important development regarding the Native American mascot at James Caldwell High School. NJ.COM reported that the Board of Education is planning to address the issue at an upcoming August workshop! Our efforts are working! Now is the time to push the Board even harder to make this change.
1. Email the Board of Education and urge them to change the mascot.
2. Our petition is so close to 5,000 signatures! Take a moment and share the petition with ten of your friends right now. This would make a huge difference.
3. Continue utilizing our FAQ on our website to answer questions regarding why the mascot needs to change.
