Hi all!

I want to update all of you and thank you for helping our petition to change the Native American mascot at James Caldwell High School surpass 5,000 signatures! We are actually now over 5,200 signatures, and are continuing to build momentum. The Board of Education is meeting this month to address the mascot!

We want to bring your attention to an article from The Progress about our movement, and highlight the words of Jonathan Hawk, a Caldwell resident of Choctaw descent. It is essential that we empower the voices of Native Americans regarding this issue.
