Despite our efforts of taking these kids to state, these guys are told they wont be going. We have not and will not give up on them. The decision boiled down to the "coach" not including state on his regular season schedule and the fact it runs into basketball season. These boys have stuck together, sweated their butts off ALL summer, play not only one but sometimes 2 games a week (not getting home till 10-10:30pm on school nights) all while keeping their grades up. It is beyond me why a school would not want new trophies in that case or why a coach would say we (parents) wasted money making them shirts about state! Our CCMS boys are 6-0!!  and all they want to do is go to state, these kids eat, sleep,and breath football day in and day out, and to have this opportunity taken away for what we and they are told is beyound sad, several of the boys want to give up as they think why keep up all the hard work when it dont pay off.
