We love our friends at Cafe Gratitude, and we are very grateful to have this wonderful restaurant in our town. The food is wholesome and nourishing. The atmosphere is friendly and welcoming. Cafe Gratitude is a great place to eat for the growing vegan community in Santa Cruz, and it has our full support. Although, we do have one request for our friends. Would you please consider replacing honey with a plant-based alternative in your menu? There are many alternatives such as agave nectar, maple syrup and cane sugar syrup. This minor change would allow us to enjoy your entire menu, and give the bees a break. Thank you for considering.
