Please help me get my cats back.

What I am going to tell is the truth.

I lost my job when my company closed due to the economy. And I had to leave my home because I could not pay rent anymore since I went through all my savings.
Throughout this time I was able to maintain the health of my cats. However, because I was worried that I would end up unable to care for my cats, I began to looking for alternative care.
This case is about what happened when I gave my cats to CARE, an organization that looks after cats, for a temporary foster home and CARE’s refusal to return my cats to me.
About 12 years ago for a period of 3 or 4 years, I helped out at CARE (Mary Zupan). I also rescued two of their cats and adopted them myself. Because of my current situation, I asked CARE (Mary Zupan) to help me foster out my cats until I could get back on my feet.

Ms. Zupan promised me they would foster my cats including DeeDee and Princess (the 2 cats I rescued from CARE 10 years ago). I agreed. I am an animal rescuer and lover, I do a lot of volunteer work for organizations and associations. I did a lot for CARE. Mary Zupan is the one who 10 years ago asked me to rescue DeeDee and Princess. They were not adoptable because they were wild and feral.  It took me about a year and a half to socialize the two cats. (I am a cat, dog and horse Socialization trainer.)
I was given the impression that the lady (Jean) who picked up my cats from CARE would be the one fostering them.
I later found out that they were not fostered by Jean but instead were transported to the CARE’s sanctuary in Antelope Valley without my knowledge and permission. This upset me greatly.
I became very concerned about my cats because I was receiving strange responses to my phone calls and emails from people with Care.
Maria Porter (also with CARE) emailed me telling me that they euthanized one of my cats due to a liver condition. The cat they told me that died was DeeDee - one of the cats that I originally adopted from CARE.
When the woman (Jean) came to pick up my cats, they were all healthy. I became very suspicious of CARE’s intentions. I became upset with them due to the loss of DeeDee.
My cat DeeDee was a 27-pound-cat when the woman (Jean) came to pick them up. DeeDee was in very good health. I know my cats and if my cats were sick I would immediately have taken the cat to my vet.
Maria Porter also said that DeeDee was cremated too. She said that if I wanted the ashes she could send them to me. I am still waiting.  CARE never provided any papers to me or sent me DeeDee ashes.
I was referred to CARE’s attorney, Robert Gentino, who threatened and insulted both me and one of my friends Alessandra. I have 2 email exchanges between him and my friend Alessandra on December 23, 2009.  I also have an email from Alessandra regarding a very bad telephone conversation she had with Mr. Gentino on March 17, 2010.
I am very regretful that I even took my cats to CARE.  They were supposed to help me and my cats but ironically they killed DeeDee and took the other cats away from me for no good reason.
I was too trusting. Had I known what they intended all along, I would have never given them my cats to them. I do not want money.  I just want my cats back.  My cats are my family. My cats are all I have in my life. CARE took them away from me.
I was promised by Mary Zypan (who confirmed in an email on October 25, 2009, that I could have my cats back when I get settled). They are my cats. But CARE refuses to return my cats.
CARE’s attorney Gentino told my friend Alessandra that the cats now belong to CARE.  How could that be?  I did not give them ownership of my cats. I never signed any papers transferring ownership and I did not give CARE any rights of ownership.
The cats are all microchiped to my name. They are also all spayed and neutered.
I hired an attorney, John Cariati from the law firm Parker Stanbury, who wrote CARE to ask them to return the cats and what he received in return from Mr. Gentino was a phone call with a non-sense conversation.
They are my cats and one is now dead.  The animal care and control officer and the City attorney told me that they cannot keep my cats and that they have to give them back to me.
They are my cats.
So I went there (to the sanctuary in Little Rock, Antelope Valley, CA) on March 16 with 2 Deputies Sheriff and the employee at the Care sanctuary refused to open the gate telling us that he received orders from their attorney to not give the cats back to me. So I was forced to leave without my kitties.
My cat DeeDee was a 27-pound-cat when the woman (Jean) came to pick them up. DeeDee was in very good health.
I know my cats and if my cat were sick I would immediately have taken the cat to my vet. Maria Porter also said that DeeDee was cremated too.  She said that if I wanted the ashes she could send them to me. I am still waiting.
CARE never provided any papers to me or sent me DeeDee ashes. I am thinking that my cat DeeDee is maybe still alive. It is like they just took her back without permission and authorization.
Maria Porter also stated on December 14, 2009 that CARE removed my cat Sweety's teeth -again without my knowledge, permission or consent.  But Sweety had already his teeth removed in June 2009.
They also said that my cat Samantha was sick and they medicated her. I do not believe Samantha was sick. They are taking initiatives with my cats without telling me. I am the owner of those cats. I should be the one making these decisions.
What has happened to my cats?
I just want my cats back. They are mine. I love them. I am devastated.
Ironically, CARE does not care.
Please do not bring any animals there, please. Do not do business with those people please.
