Dear Tom Holmoe, BYU is now actively searching for a new football head coach. BYU fans would love to see BYU football rise to national prominence once again. It is critical that BYU selects the correct football head coach to lead us into the promised land. Who should be your #1 candidate to call on Monday morning? Not Andy Reid, not Robert Anae, not that guy from up north, and we certainly don't want BYU to start running a Navy-style triple option offense. The correct answer? Former BYU Quarterback, Super Bowl Champion, and Hall of Famer Steve Young. I would list here all of Steve Young's old statistics and accomplishments, but you already know all of that, don't ya? To say the least, he has an impressive football resume. To this day, Steve continues to be a football analyst for ESPN, he knows his stuff. We would love to see him designing plays on our sidelines. Who better to mentor our newly found star QB, Tanner Magnum? Steve works hard to serve his community, is an active church member of the LDS church, and has the ability to inspire everyone he comes across. I know he has the talent to inspire the top recruits in the nation to come play football at BYU. Can you imagine how much this hire would energize the BYU players, fan base, and potential recruits?? Steve Young is your man. PLEASE give him a phone call, you won't regret it. We can't wait to see Steve at the welcoming press conference as the new BYU Football Head Coach. Thank you Tom.
