Working with dogs and clients on a daily basis, I am hearing all too often the concerns owners are now having with the vets still not allowing Owners to go into the surgery with their pets.

this can be from people avoiding going to the vets altogether to the anxiety is causing which is then being passed on to the pet.

if I can go to the hairdresser or a beauty appointment where I’m sat with close contact to another person (with facemasks on) for an hour plus at a time why can we still not get in with our pets by appointment for 10 to 15 minutes?

The main fear I am hearing is that things are being missed/ignored because the owner is not there to discuss concerns at the time with the vet. 

this needs to change and change soon.
