Board of Education Meeting 11/5

Hey again-

Just wanted to give you guys another quick update before what is sure to be a crazy election day  tomorrow. This Thursday night, 11/5, is the Board of Education’s next virtual meeting and I have submitted a request to comment during the public comment portion of the meeting about our petition.

If I am approved to comment I will present Dr. Hill and the board with the full tally of signatures we collected up till that point. Right now we have just over 750 signatures of support, but it would be kind of awesome to have closer to 1,000. So, any help you can offer in that regard would be amazing. You guys have done a killer job in sharing the petition so far, so, please keep on keeping on and I am confident we can hit that 1,000 supporter threshold!

The fact that Jordan Middle School has announced that they will not tally the results of the reopening commitment survey until AFTER the meeting on Thursday because things may have changed a bit during the week is hugely encouraging. It may have nothing at all to with our petition, but, something is definitely making them think twice about the abysmal options they offered on the survey, so, yay!
