My son Shane jr cook is a 16 year old student at Innisdale secondary school in Barrie Ontario.   He has autism spectrum and intellectual developmental disability.   He is in a DS class which is a form of a special needs class.   My son will never be able to live independently and he has to be supervised by an adult at all times for the rest of his life.   The issue I am having with his school is that my son was bullied by other students from his class on the bus and also has been yelled at by the bus driver.   As you can see in my photo my son wears noise cancellation head phones because he has high sensory issues.   Also my son doesn’t fully relay his thoughts through speech and he fully doesn’t understand right from wrong.    I also have been bullied by landmark staff one morning I went to drop off my son to school and I parked my car not blocking any other vehicles from using the same parking lot I went to walk him to front door to hug him and say goodbye and I love you and all I hear is someone yelling at me calling me selfish.    I look over I see two landmark bus drivers in white vans parked side by side blocking anybody coming into the parking lot with special needs children in their vehicles and I looked over at my son he was gone I didn’t even get to finish saying goodbye he heard the yelling from the other person and went to class.   I walked over to the two vans and the lady said I was selfish because I didn’t park in the actual spot but where I parked my car I was blocking no one and I knew I would only be two seconds and my car was still running.   I left went to landmark head office to speak to a manager and no one contacted me after that.   Second incident was I went to park in the disability parking spots out front of the school and a landmark van driver was double parked in the center of two spots and I had no where else to park so when I asked her to move over the lady said you can’t park here and I said I have every right to park here my child has disabilities and that’s where I am told to park by the school and I told her she shouldn’t have assumed  I didn’t have a disability sticker for my car their job is to drop off and pick up children they are not there to regulate who parks where.   I want to start a petition that landmark bus drivers should be retrained on how not to bully anyone in front of any passenger and that bullying is not allowed or prohibited and they should have consequences for doing so.    Please support my petition.   I have already exhausted every resource.   I’ve dealt with the school itself the school board and landmark now my son is not attending that school because of how my son is treated and how I am trying to protect him from more bullying happening.   Please help me and other children with disabilities thanks
