There is ongoing bullying and violence at CREC Academy of Computer Science and Engineering, formerly known as Two Rivers Magnet Middle School in East Hartford, CT. Though these situations have been brought up to the school administration by parents multiple times, no visible action is taken as students are continuously hurt by their peers.

It is essential to keep children safe in schools to have a good learning environment where they can be successful. The school claims to foster a nurturing and protective environment yet does nothing against acts of violence and bullying among its students. These acts of violence are evident on multiple social media platforms, including Instagram and Snapchat. The security guards or school faculty members are nowhere to be found during these violent incidents. These ongoing situations have hindered students' abilities to focus in the classroom and get a proper education. This petition was created to raise awareness of what is happening to students in this school and escalate the situation since the school administration is not doing so.

Please sign this petition to raise awareness of these daily bullying occurrences so that something is done before it is too late. This non-stop bullying continues to have a significant toll on these middle school students. It should NEVER be the case that students do not want to go to school and get their education because they are afraid of the bullying they may face on a daily basis.

Hay bullying y violencia continuos en la Academia de Ingeniería y Ciencias de la Computación de CREC, anteriormente conocida como Two Rivers en East Hartford, CT. Aunque los padres han reportado estas situaciones a la administración de la escuela varias veces, no se toman medidas visibles ya que los estudiantes siguen siendo lastimados continuamente por sus compañeros.

Es esencial mantener a los niños seguros en las escuelas para tener un buen ambiente de aprendizaje donde puedan tener éxito. La escuela afirma que la escuela es un lugar seguro para sus estudiantes, pero no hace nada contra los actos de violencia y acoso entre ellos. Estos actos de violencia son evidentes en múltiples plataformas de redes sociales, incluyendo Instagram y Snapchat. Los guardias de seguridad o miembros de la facultad de la escuela no se encuentran por ninguna parte durante estos incidentes violentos. Estas situaciones han hecho difícil las habilidades de los estudiantes para concentrarse en el salón de clases y obtener una educación adecuada. Esta petición fue creada para crear conciencia sobre lo que les está pasando a los estudiantes en esta escuela y escalar la situación ya que la administración de la escuela no lo está haciendo.

Por favor firme esta petición para crear conciencia sobre estos casos de acoso diario para que se haga algo antes de que sea demasiado tarde. Esta intimidación continua y sigue afectando significativamente a estos estudiantes de secundaria. NUNCA debe ser el caso de que los estudiantes no quieran ir a la escuela y obtener su educación porque tienen miedo del bullying que pueden enfrentar a diario.
